PERSONAL SKILLS

We offer a range of British Canoeing Personal Performance awards, to give frameworks towards your learning.  Using the Start, Discover and Explore awards, we will equip you with the knowledge, skills, risk awareness and logistic planning to be competent as a group member or paddle with peers with confidence.  Our courses are underpinned by the "Fundamentals" of paddleport to help learn skills to succeed. 

On from there we offer the Personal Performance and Progressive Performance Awards in Kayak, Canoe and SUP, along with all the touring awards.

SAFETY AND RESCUE COURSES

Staying safe whilst paddling will add to your enjoyment and and confidence.
We offer the Paddlesport Safety and Rescue Course (PSRC), Open Water Safety & Rescue ( OWSR). 
and the new White Water Safety and  (WWS) and Intro To White Water Safety (IWWS).

LEADERSHIP

We offer a range of training and assessments in British Canoeing Leadership awards.

ww River Leader, Kayak and Canoe.

There are some great changes to the Leadership awards for 2021.  No mandatory training, and one day assessments, will make things more accessible for more paddlers.  We are able to tailor training to meet your needs. We will be offering long term mentoring, with training, shadowing, and mentoring sessions to guide you on your leadership journey.

COACH AND INSTRUCTOR AWARDS

We offer both the Instructor and the Coach Award.
The Paddlesport Instructor Award is a great entry into the coaching system of British Canoeing.  For anyone age 14 years of age or older, and at Explore standard.
We also offer the Coach Core, DSTs and Assessment courses.  When booking with us, what makes us unique is we can offer you lots of opportunities to coach groups through your development.  We really believe in providing a long term development pathway on your coaching journey.
